John 3: 16 - 17

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Acts 1: 8

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

1Peter 1: 17 - 21

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Philippians 4: 4 - 9

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praise worthy— meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Titus 2: 1 - 8

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

Romans 3: 21 - 26

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Acts 2: 42 - 47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

John 10: 7

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Colossians 1: 9 - 17

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Matthew 5: 13 - 16

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

2 Peter 1: 1-11

To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Matthew 25-34

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

1 Peter 1:13-16

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,  because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

What if...

...there was a group of people, let’s say 100,000 Christians, who were committed to praying, worshiping and studying God’s  word  more; Serving  God  at  least  a  couple  hours  a  week in  their  local  church or community; loving others;  living a  moral  Christian  Lifestyle and  giving  $10  a  month  to support  missions.  How would this  change our world?  We would see a totally  different body  of Christ first of all. More Christians would have a stronger and more exciting relationship with Jesus Christ, more evangelism would happen at home and abroad and if done right over 20,000+ fulltime Christian ministers and missionaries would be supported that are not presently fully supported as well as providing much needed education, skilled training, jobs and a better life for the poor in developing and 3rd world countries.

Hopeline Christian Society will be “Encouraging, Equipping and Mobilizing Christians in the Pursuit of Living the Two ‘Great Commandments’ and the ‘Great Commission,’ Locally and Globally” in 3 ways. The first is through helping to develop “Christian Spiritual and Moral Disciplines” in the Christians life, allowing them to have a vibrant and abundant life in Christ. Second is to help support Christian ministers and missionaries financially where they are mostly dependent upon raising their own support, without having to leave their present church or organization. Finally, to provide education, skilled training and jobs for those living in poverty in mostly developing and 3rd world countries thus improving theirs and their family’s standard of living.

The first and most important aspect of a Christian’s life is to have a vibrant and abundant relationship with Jesus Christ. We will be “Encouraging, Equipping and Mobilizing Christians in the Pursuit of Living the Two ‘Great Commandments’ and the ‘Great Commission,’ Locally and Globally” by helping Christians in their spiritual growth through helping to develop “Christian Spiritual and Moral Disciplines” in their lives.

This can only happen if we as Christians spend time with God. Scripture calls Christ the Bride Groom and us the Bride. To think that we can have an abundant life in Christ without spending a significant amount of enjoyable and intimate time with Jesus is like having a dynamic and gratifying marriage without spending a significant amount of joyful and intimate time with your husband or wife. Christ spent a lot of time with the Father and so must we. If we think this is not true we are only fooling ourselves as Christians.

How much time does the average Christian spend with Christ?

I would say that if you spend more than 20 minutes a day with just you and Christ and go to church once a week you are well above average. Also, probably most people just ask God to do things for them and not focused on relationship time with Jesus Christ. How would this work in a human marriage? “Yes dear, you can have between 6:15 and 6:35 each morning and if you promise to make me dinner I’ll say thank you for it, if I remember! :)” We believe that it is best if Christians spend a minimum average of 9 plus hours per week with God, praying, worship and studying God’s word. This is only about 5% of your week which has 168 hours, most people sleep 56 hours and work 40 hours. If we think that to spend an average of 9 plus hours a week with the God who died for you is too much, we might need to honestly look at how much we think we love God. We also believe it is better if we spend at least one day a month praying and fasting for spiritual strength. We will discuss this later if you become more interested; because, we know you want to say you can’t. As well every Christian should spend at least a couple hours a week of ministry time using their spiritual gifts and talents for the Glory of God. We think Christians should do local and/or global short term missions trips. This all helps to create a healthy Christian lifestyle of loving God and one another. This may seem like a lot. However, if we want God to change us and our world we the Body of Christ need to be totally committed to Him. The more time you spend with Jesus, the more every area of your life will change and the more we will touch others for His Kingdom. If you are not there now we would like to help you get there within 6 months, if you want. You will never be the same and you will never want to go back to the way life used to be.

One thing to be sure is that our time with God and our spiritual and moral disciplines should never become legalistic. I personally do not keep track of the time I spend with God because I know that I spend 4+ hours per day on average with Christ and the spiritual disciplines.  If our time with God only becomes a set of rules and routine it will never become relationship with Christ and will never be enjoyable. When you first start increasing your time with Christ Jesus you will probably keep track of how much time you are spending with Him or at the very least you will be aware of time, but that will change and you will just spend glorious time with Him. We will all probably dip below the minimal spiritual discipline times occasionally due to circumstances. This is not what we are interested in; we are talking about our normal lifestyle. Even if you do not reach the recommended 9 plus hours average per week of spiritual disciplines  whatever you do increase will improve your life in Christ.

When time with your spouse becomes wearisome the marriage is in trouble. The same is true with our relationship with Christ! We should always be on a honeymoon with Jesus.

Each person has a different personality and needs to spend their time with God differently. This is why many prayer and study programs do not work. They try to fit everyone into the same style of program. What works for some definitely does not work for others! When I was a young Christian I used to pray 7 hours a day plus the Word and Worship, that was obviously before marriage and kids. After attending a prayer seminar to teach us how to pray 1 hour a day, I dropped to 5 minutes until I finally put away everything they taught me. It worked for others but not me. For me it took relationship out, once I got it back I was spending large amounts of time again with God.

As being part of Hopeline Christian Society one of our goals is to help you set up a support system as well as provide a variety of ideas to find what works for best for you. We will use your personality and style, your friends, your church, other resources and last but not least your love for God to help you have the best possible relationship with Jesus Christ that you can have. As a body and family we will work together and help each other draw closer to Jesus Christ and reach the world for Jesus through having dynamic and loving relationships with Him.

The second way Hopeline Christian Society will be “Encouraging, Equipping and Mobilizing Christians in the Pursuit of Living the Two ‘Great Commandments’ and the ‘Great Commission,’ Locally and Globally” is to help support Christian ministers and missionaries financially where they are mostly dependent upon raising their own support, without having to leave their present church or organization.

Why is financial support so important?

I have seen more loving and compassionate Christians leave the mission field or ministry not because they did not like it or could not handle it but because they could not afford it.

Because of the cost of missions these days the average foreign missionary (or first world missionary) will need around $2,000 USD of support per month. National missionaries living in thier own 3rd world country need far less, however they could always use extra support to help them with being able to serve, evangelize and minister in foreign nations (and God knows we need them) like missionaries from 1st world countries typically only get to do. They can also always use extra money to further help the impoverished with food, housing or medical, etc. in their own country. From my knowledge, the average foreign missionary only raises between $400 and $600 per month and most are closer to the lower amount. National missionaries in 3rd world countries if they have any support are usually under $50/month. Every year gets harder and harder as more and more mission organizations only take people who will raise their own support adding more people out there trying to raise their personal support while at the same time the world economy gets worse and expenses get higher. Usually what happens is a young person will get a lot of support from their family or church in the beginning but then that drops off. Or someone more mature in age uses their life savings, hoping to raise more support and then has to quit after a couple years of service. I have known far too many friends while in missions who have sold their homes and businesses, rooted up their families to go into missions only to last a couple years and ended up in debt and had to go back home for everyone to see that they couldn’t make it, and it was all because of finances (this leaves a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth for missions). Our family sat around $500/month (which was much less than our monthly average). Unfortunately, we would eventually run out of money and will have to go into debt with our credit card to stay where we were at and then have to leave the mission field for a couple of years to pay off the debt and to get a little ahead and then we can start all over again. This has been our families’ life for the last 25 years. Most cannot and will not do this! That’s why the Body of Christ needs an organization to help raise support for ministers and missionaries that are dependent mostly upon raising their own support.

Last but not least we are to show our love for Christ and our neighbor which is the second of the "Two Great Commandments" by helping those in prison and feeding the hungry, etc. This leads to the need for training and jobs for those who need them, especially those in developing and 3rd world countries. However they cannot do it on their own because of poverty, lack of education and practical skills as well as many times they have to deal with corrupt governments and government officials. Every day I get asked by many desperate people to give them a job so that they can feed their family, and I have to say “No, I can’t help you.” I can't even tell them to look for one because there are none. Each year billions of dollars have been given to stop poverty and hunger in almost every 3rd world country around the world and it has not even made a dent. Yet, if we as the body of Christ band together we can say “Yes, I have a job for you. Come with me!” Then God truly gets Glorified.

How can we do this?

If WE the Body of Christ works together to raise the money, mostly through our own spiritual growth with God, excitement for missions and only a $10 per month per person or $20 per family donation where half will go directly to supporting ministers and missionaries who need it and half going to starting “Missional Villages” that will start national and global businesses mostly in developing and 3rd world countries with the profits also going to supporting the ministers and missionaries who need it the most, administering Hopeline ChristianSociety and to continue“Encouraging, Equipping and Mobilizing Christians in the Pursuit of Living the Two ‘Great Commandments’ and the ‘Great Commission,’ Locally and Globally.” These “Missional Villages” will provide jobs for the poor in 3rd world countries living in or near them, help them have a better standard of living by having sewage systems, clean water and electricity (which we will provide) and toilets to start with, which most people in 3rd world countries do not have the luxury of.

We also believe that this project is not only for Christians in first world countries but for Christians in 3rd world countries to help them know God better and to be part of giving into the Kingdom of God. Giving Christians tend to be recieving Christians. So for those living in poverty in developing and 3rd world countries the recommended donation will be close to the equivalent pecentage of the USD in their own currency. For example: in Haiti it will be about 3-5 Haitian Dollars which is about 35-60 cents USD for a country whose average income is under $1000 USD per year and most under $150 per year (will take between April and August 2014 to impliment). Those Haitians earning over $300 - $500 per month USD will be requested to contribute $5 per month and over $500 per month $10 per month like the rest of us.

You will be helping to bring much needed jobs for the poor and infrastructure into countries that need it the most as a gift from God. Ministers and missionaries around the world will be blessed to focus on God, reaching and helping the lost for Christ and not having to focus on trying to raise or keep their own support. Just think, in one year your $10/month will be supporting over 10 missionaries and providing training and jobs for over a 100 Haitians that would otherwise not have work, 2, 3 and 4 years it becomes miraculous through Christ' body and grace, but we all need to be part of the solution.

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTENcvMeFYQGl09oppWXdDxEfh1HyRrx8SBKYhgqpbriPeu00XvLgHopeline Christian Society will never ask for any more money from our members. We will not ask for special donations for projects or for more help.

We will do what God has called us to do and gives us. This simple system with the grace of God and the support of the Body of Christ will be enough to start (except my initial investment for incorporation) and more than enough to become self-sustaining once we are able to hit the business phase and no one will ever have to be asked for any more than the recommended $10 per month per person or $20 per family donation. If someone wants to give more or offer various items we will not turn them away. However, we will never ask for or encourage anyone to give more than $10/month per person or $20 per family. We may have a webpage that will give some items that we can use in the beginning stages for those who would like to do more for this project but no one will be bombarded for any more financial requests and this webpage will not be overly promoted and only be positioned in a way that you can only get there if you want to see how to help more. We will also provide ways that you can help by volunteering with Hopeline Christian Society to help the poor or volunteer for one of our partnering ministries. One last time, “You will NEVER be asked or expected to give more than $10 per month per adult.”

By us not asking for more money from our members this will give our members the freedom to join with us and give to others more if they want to. It will also allow ministers and missionaries to only have to ask their friend and supporters for their ministry projects and not for their own needs (something we all hate to do, but must at this time). We know that Christians are being solicited to death for support from every direction. We want to slow that down and help Christians to have enough money for what God puts on their hearts.

Our limit of monthly support will be $2,000 per minister or missionary and our ultimate goal will be to see that every Hopeline Christian Society supported minister or missionary will have at least $2,000 per month of support. This is our long term goal.

Most ministers and missionaries supported by Hopeline Christian Society will be from other reputable Christian churches and Christian organizations such as Youth With A Mission, Campus Crusade for Christ, Baptist and Assembly of God churches, etc.

Hopeline Christian Society will be there mostly to support, encourage, equip and mobilize the existing Body of Christ and to help them do their ministries better, not to duplicate their efforts. However, we will be there to help fill in the gaps when needed. The main and non-negotiable requirements for anyone supported through Hopeline Christian Society will be that they are a Christian and are meeting the Christian Spiritual and Moral Disciplines and part of a US or Canadian government recognized Christian church or charity organization.

Hopeline Christian Society Memberships and Projected Goals:

Hopeline Christian Society has a recommended $10 per month per adult donation or $20 per family for membership which should be managable for most people in the first world. This money goes to supporting ministers and missionaries and developing and starting businesses to educate, train and provide jobs for the poor especially those who are Christians in 3rd world countries. One does not need to be a member to visit our site and be encouraged to spend more time with Christ and live a Christian moral life. Everyone is free to visit without being a member, grow and come closer to Christ. The reason we want members that will pay $10 per month is so that we the body of Christ can use our finances wisely and invest into the lives of ministers and missionaries and the poor, especially those who are Christians in 3rd world countries. Each individual member is important for this system to work and help the Kingdom of God grow. I believe this is being the wise servant.

As most of our members will come from Christian churches we will work closely with church Pastors, Christian organizations and their leaders to help their members and congregations to have a closer relationship with Christ Jesus. We will welcome non-Christians as well who believe in what we are doing in the world. Without being pushy in their lives this will give them a chance to help the poor and give us a chance show them Christ’s love and influence their lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our minimal correspondence with them.We look forward to seeing both Christians and non-Christians get closer to Christ.

We are aiming for the following timeline of memberships, giving of support and business activity:

500 Members:

5-10 Missionaries supported (depending upon their levels).

1,000 Members:

7-20 Missionaries; find land and make an offer in Haiti for first Missional Village.

2,000 Members:

15-30 Missionaries supported; Final land payment; start initial buildings and begin landscaping property.

5,000 Members:

25-70 Missionaries and Ministers supported; Begin building Resort and Convention Center and Recycling Plant in Haiti.

10,000 Members:

70+ Missionaries and Ministers supported; Resort and Convention Center opens for business; start new business: Food Manufacturing Plant in Haiti.

100,000 Members:

10,000+ Missionaries and Ministers supported; Villages in 4 countries with businesses operating.

200,000 Members:

20,000+ Missionaries and Ministers supported; Villages in 6 countries with businesses operating.

Although our first country to develop a village in is Haiti we hope to start working on the second country (yet to be determined) within 2 years. Our ministers and missionaries will be from all around the world, not just Haiti or any other specific country. Our desire and your desire is to help ministers, missionaries and those living in poverty all around the world.

Also after six months of about 20,000 support members the business activity alone would be enough to support over 500 ministers and missionaries even if we lost every member, which is doubtful as we all get stronger in Christ and see the good that God is doing around the world. This is an exciting and powerful opportunity to be part of with Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Is this worth taking a chance on?                   What have we got to loose?

$10 a month and a little more time with Jesus our God and Savior.

The world will change!  You will change!
